Revlon Colorstay Whipped

After seeing so many Youtube videos on this foundation I was dying to try it, unfortunately it doesn't look like  Revlon will be selling this in Europe so I had someone send it to me from America. I got it in the shade Buff. I wasn't sure what to expect because I didn't like the original colorstay foundation i found it hard to work with, it looked like a mask when i applied it on. But this foundation is really easy to work with, its a whipped formula and to me its more like a mousse. I like the coverage I wouldn't call it full coverage like the original its more medium coverage for me. Unfortunately Its not as long lasting on my oily skin either. So over all its a nice foundation, easy to work with and for normal skin types it might work better but on my oily skin I wouldn't be relying on it to last all day which is disappointing.

Catrice Haul

Just a quick look at my recent Catrice haul. Catrice is a very affordable Drug store brand in Europe and they make good quality products. I also did a Youtube video on this haul which you can watch HERE. I bought their eye liner gel in the shade 010, eyeliner calligraphy pen & eyebrow filler perfecting & shaping gel. The eyeliner gel was €4.49, the calligraphy pen was €3.49 and the eyebrow filler was €3.99. The eyeliner gel is black and the pen is also black, the eyebrow filler is brown. I'm very excited to try these cheaper alternatives to higher end products as i was considering buying Mac eyebrow gel but if this Catrice alternative works then I will have saved myself some money. 

Shades of Pink Haul

I have been lusting after this dew pot for months and haven't been able to get my hands on it as Mememe isn't sold here and I couldn't find this particular shade on any websites that stock Mememe. Thank fully I discovered the Shades of Pink website. Its a German website that stock different brands such as Sleek, mememe, Eco Tools, Real Techniques and lots more. I ordered the dew pot in the shade "Willow Whisper". I also ordered the new Sleek blush in the shade "Mirrored Pink". I ordered the blush because I had read that it is an excellent dupe for Benefit's Bella Bamba blush. Unfortunately I don't have the Benefit to compare them side by side. Now usually I won't order just two small things if the shipping is a bit high but in this case I had to because I wanted the dew pot so  much and this was my only option. The shipping was €7.00 for the two small items from Germany to Ireland but it was signed for post and came in a box. Given the option I would of preferred normal post and saved some money. I should also mention that my order wasn't dispatched till 5 days after I placed my order online so they do seem to be a little slow. But as far as the products are concerned I can't fault them they arrived in perfect condition. 

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

I recently bought this powder after running out of my Holy Grail Mac Msfn powder. I have an oily T zone so i need a powder to help battle that throughout the day. If I am being honest I didn't expect much from this powder before using it, that's my makeup snob coming out. But I was pleasantly surprised. This powder gives a lovely finish it doesn't give you that horrible over powdered look. And it helps control my oily skin. I bought it in the shade 001 Transparent which is perfect for my fair slightly yellow toned skin, Nc15 by mac standards. Its affordable and does what it says it will. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. 

Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara Review

This is the latest Maybelline mascara to be released in Europe. I was very excited about this because i adore rubber mascara wands. I use the non waterproof formula and i have had no smudging. It retails for €11.99 which isn't exactly cheap but that is the normal price point here for drug store makeup. I only ever apply one coat of mascara which might explain why i love this mascara because after one coat it will start to clump so beware if you like to layer mascara then this won't be for you. One coat is enough for me as I just want something to enhance and define my lashes so this is perfect for everyday wear. If you don't go crazy applying this I think you will like it .

Benefit Watt's Up

This is a gold "champagne" cream highlighter. You get 9.4g for €35.00. The texture is quite creamy although it dries to a powder finish while remaining luminous. When swatched this highlighter definitely looks scary and  might turn people off but when its  applied and blended it gives a lovely sheen to the skin.  it comes with a sponge on the bottom to blend the product, I personally prefer to use my fingers as the warmth from them helps blend in cream products. If you are looking for a good long lasting cream highlighter I would definitely recommend this. 

FOTD Winged eyeliner

I have been loving my Soap & Glory eyeliner pen so much recently so i just wanted to post a FOTD where i used it. its very easy to use and hard to go wrong when using it. I'm also getting into the Paddy's day mood with some green eyeshadow Mac's Juxt & Humid.
